About the Yealink T54W
The T54W sits in the middle of Yealink’s T5 business phone range, between the entry-level T53W and the touch screen T57W. The screen tilts so you can set a comfortable viewing angle, and 10 line keys with LEDs sit beside it. Yealink’s Acoustic Shield uses several microphones to keep nearby noise out of what the other side hears, and the handset is hearing aid compatible.
Connections go beyond the network port. Bluetooth handles a headset and a mobile phone at the same time, Wi-Fi works on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and the USB 2.0 port takes a wired or wireless USB headset, a flash drive for call recording, or up to 3 EXP50 color expansion modules. With Yealink’s DD10K DECT dongle the phone can also pair with up to 4 cordless handsets. Firmware is shared with the T53, T53W and T57W, which keeps a mixed fleet simple to manage.

Questions about the Yealink T54W
- Does the Yealink T54W work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
- Yes. The T54W is a standard SIP phone (SIP v2, RFC 3261) that can hold up to 16 accounts and supports auto-provisioning over HTTP and HTTPS. Telnamix sells, provisions and supports the T54W with our hosted and 3CX phone systems.
- What is the difference between the T53W, T54W and T57W?
- All three run the same firmware and share most calling features. Yealink positions the T53W as the entry-level model, with a smaller graphical screen, fewer line keys and fewer accounts. The T54W is the mid-level model with a 4.3-inch color screen and 16 accounts. The T57W is the premium model, built around a large touch screen for heavy call loads.
- Does the T54W need a power adapter?
- Not if your switch supplies PoE (IEEE 802.3af); the phone runs from its Ethernet cable. Without PoE you need the optional Yealink 5 V 2 A adapter, which is not in the box.
- Can I use a wireless headset with the T54W?
- Yes. Bluetooth 4.2 is built in and connects a headset and a mobile phone at the same time. The USB port also takes wired or wireless USB headsets, and there is an RJ9 headset jack.
- Can I use the T54W for Teams or Zoom calls on my computer?
- With a Yealink BT51 Bluetooth dongle in the computer, the T54W can connect to it as a USB audio device for calls in apps such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and RingCentral, alongside its normal SIP calls.
- What is the warranty?
- Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
