Questions about the T53W? .

About the Yealink T53W

The T53W gives an ordinary desk the same wireless features as the pricier T5 models. The screen tilts to a comfortable angle, 8 line keys with LEDs sit around it, and Yealink’s Acoustic Shield uses several microphones to cut background noise for the person on the other end. The handset is hearing aid compatible.

Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz means the phone can go where there is no network cable, and Bluetooth connects a headset and a mobile phone at the same time. The USB 2.0 port takes a USB headset, a flash drive for call recording, or up to 3 EXP50 color expansion modules for people who watch a lot of lines. It runs the same firmware as the T54W and T57W, so a mixed office is managed the same way.

Questions about the Yealink T53W

Does the Yealink T53W work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
Yes. The T53W is a standard SIP phone (SIP v2, RFC 3261) with up to 12 accounts, and it supports auto-provisioning over HTTP and HTTPS. Telnamix sells, provisions and supports the T53W with our hosted and 3CX phone systems.
Is the T53W screen in color?
Yealink lists it as a 3.7-inch, 360 x 160 pixel graphical LCD with backlight, rather than a color display. In the T5 range the T54W and T57W are the models with color screens. The EXP50 expansion module has a color screen of its own and works with the T53W.
How is the T53W different from the T54W?
They share firmware, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the expansion options. Yealink positions the T53W as its entry-level model for common workspaces and the T54W as the mid-level model for professionals and managers with a moderate call load. The T54W adds a larger color screen, more line keys and more accounts.
Does the T53W need a power adapter?
Not if your switch supplies PoE (IEEE 802.3af); the phone runs from its Ethernet cable. Without PoE you need the optional Yealink 5 V 1.2 A adapter, which is not in the box.
Can I connect a wireless headset?
Yes. Bluetooth 4.2 is built in and handles a headset and a mobile phone at the same time, and the USB port takes wired or wireless USB headsets.
What is the warranty?
Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
