Questions about the T57W? .

About the Yealink T57W

Instead of rows of physical line keys, the T57W puts its lines, contacts and menus on a 7-inch multi-touch screen that you tap like a smartphone, and the screen tilts to a comfortable viewing angle. Caller ID can show a photo as well as a name and number. Yealink’s Acoustic Shield uses several microphones to keep background noise off your calls, and the handset is hearing aid compatible.

The wireless and expansion features match the rest of the T5 range. Bluetooth connects a headset and a mobile phone at once, Wi-Fi runs on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and the USB 2.0 port takes a USB headset, a flash drive for call recording, or up to 3 EXP50 color expansion modules. With the DD10K DECT dongle the phone also works with up to 4 cordless handsets. It runs the same firmware as the T53, T53W and T54W.

Questions about the Yealink T57W

Does the Yealink T57W work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
Yes. The T57W is a standard SIP phone (SIP v2, RFC 3261) with up to 16 accounts, and it supports auto-provisioning over HTTP and HTTPS. Telnamix sells, provisions and supports the T57W with our hosted and 3CX phone systems.
How is the T57W different from the T54W?
Both have 16 accounts, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the same firmware. The T57W replaces the T54W’s smaller screen and physical line keys with a 7-inch touch screen carrying 29 DSS keys, and Yealink aims it at executives and managers with a heavy call load.
Does the T57W need a power adapter?
Not if your switch supplies PoE (IEEE 802.3af); the phone runs from its Ethernet cable. Without PoE you need the optional Yealink 5 V 2 A adapter, which is not in the box.
Can I add more line keys?
Yes. Up to 3 EXP50 color expansion modules connect to the USB port, adding up to 180 programmable keys between them.
Can I connect a wireless headset?
Yes. Bluetooth 4.2 is built in and handles a headset and a mobile phone at the same time, and the USB port takes wired or wireless USB headsets.
What is the warranty?
Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
