The Yealink T31G is an entry-level business desk phone with 2 SIP lines, a 2.3-inch backlit display and HD voice. It is built for everyday desks that need dependable calling rather than a big screen, and its dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet mean one network cable can run both the phone and the computer beside it.

About the Yealink T31G

The T31G covers the basics of an office phone and does them well. It registers up to 2 SIP accounts, each on its own line key with a red or green status light, and it can host a local 5-way conference call. Dedicated keys handle transfer, voicemail messages, headset, redial, mute and speakerphone, and the 2.3-inch 132 x 64-pixel screen shows caller name and number with soft keys underneath.

Both Ethernet ports run at Gigabit speed, so a computer plugged into the phone keeps a fast connection. The phone takes power over Ethernet, or from an optional Yealink adapter. Calls go through an HD handset and speaker with Yealink noise filtering, the handset uses a hall switch so picking it up or hanging up makes no popping sound, and a headset port supports EHS wireless headsets. The stand sets two viewing angles and doubles as a wall mount.

Questions about the Yealink T31G

Does the Yealink T31G work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
Yes. The T31G is a standard SIP phone that registers up to 2 SIP accounts and supports auto-provisioning, so it can be set up centrally rather than by hand. Telnamix sells, provisions and supports it on our hosted and 3CX phone systems.
How many lines does the T31G have?
It registers up to 2 SIP accounts and has 2 line keys, each with a red or green light that shows the line’s status. It can also join up to 5 parties in a local conference call.
Does the T31G need a power adapter?
Not if your network switch provides Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af); one cable then carries power and data. The Yealink power adapter is optional, so if your desk has no PoE port, ask us to include one.
Can I use a headset with the T31G?
Yes. It has an RJ9 headset port and a headset key, and it supports EHS wireless headsets.
Can the T31G be mounted on a wall?
Yes. The included stand works both as a two-angle desk stand and as a wall mount, though Yealink notes it does not fit the US standard wall plate.
What is the warranty?
Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
