About the Yealink W59R

The W59R is the handset Yealink builds for jobs where an ordinary cordless phone would not last. It carries an IP67 rating, resists shock, dust and water, and has a rubberized shell that stands up to slipping, scratches and disinfectant. It runs on a long-life lithium battery.

It is a handset only: it registers to a Yealink DECT base, which connects it to your phone system. With the Yealink W80 Multi-Cell System, calls roam and hand over as the user moves around a larger site. Built-in Bluetooth lets workers talk through a wireless headset, a vibration alert catches calls in loud areas, and Flexible Noise Reduction (FNR) with full duplex audio keeps conversations clear in loud places and around wireless interference.

For lone or at-risk workers, an administrator can assign push-button, no-movement, man-down and running alarms to each person, and the handset places an emergency call on its own when one goes off. Yealink also lists the W59R as compatible with Microsoft SIP Gateway for Teams calling.

  • IP67 certified

Built to handle dust, water and knocks on construction sites, factory floors and in warehouses.

  • Grippy rubber shell

The rubberized surface resists slipping, scratching and disinfectant.

  • Safety alarms

Push-button, no-movement, man-down and running alarms, set per user, send an emergency call automatically.

  • Bluetooth and vibration

Talk through a Bluetooth headset with the handset on your belt, and feel calls come in where you cannot hear the ring.

  • Site-wide roaming

Works with the Yealink W80 Multi-Cell System, so calls hand over as you move around.

  • Clear audio in noise

Flexible Noise Reduction (FNR) and full duplex audio keep calls steady in loud or busy radio environments.

W59R part number and price

There is one version: the W59R handset on its own, without a base. It needs a Yealink DECT base to connect to your phone system; for sites that need calls to roam, Yealink names its W80 Multi-Cell System. A spare CCD-W59R charging cradle is on our accessories page.

Questions about the Yealink W59R

Does the Yealink W59R come with a base?
No. This is the handset alone (part 1302006). It registers to a Yealink DECT base, which connects it to your phone system. For larger sites, Yealink names its W80 Multi-Cell System, which lets calls roam and hand over as you move.
Does the W59R work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
The W59R does not connect to a phone system by itself; it works through the Yealink DECT base it is registered to, and the base connects to your system. Telnamix sells, provisions and supports Yealink DECT handsets and bases with its hosted and 3CX phone systems.
How tough is the W59R?
It is certified to IP67 and built to resist shock, dust and water. Its rubberized surface resists slipping, scratching and disinfectant, which suits construction sites, factories and warehouses.
What safety alarms does the W59R have?
Push-button, no-movement, man-down and running alarms. An administrator chooses which alarms each user gets, and the handset sends an emergency call automatically when one is triggered.
Can I use a Bluetooth headset with the W59R?
Yes. Bluetooth is built in, so you can talk through a wireless headset and keep the handset on your belt. A vibration alert helps you notice calls in loud areas.
What is the warranty?
Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
