About the Yealink WH62
Yealink makes the WH62 as a Mono model, with one ear cup, and a Dual model with two; we list the Mono. Its base has 2 micro USB ports, so it can be connected to a computer and an IP desk phone at the same time, and it plugs into a Yealink desk phone with one USB cable, with no EHS adapter needed. For Cisco, Poly and Avaya phones, Yealink's EHS60 adapter adds remote call control, and the EHS61 does the same for Mitel and Unify.
Two microphones with Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology cut background noise from your side of the call. A busylight on the headset turns red while you talk, and an optional BLT60 desk light shows the same signal. Lifting the boom arm mutes the microphone, the base has its own ringer, and soft leather cushions keep the on-ear fit comfortable for a full day. Walk out of range and you hear a tone; come back and the call carries on.
Light one-ear fit
The Mono headset weighs 80 g and sits on one ear, leaving the other free for the room around you.
Phone and computer together
Two USB ports on the base connect a PC and an IP desk phone at once, with one USB cable to a Yealink phone.
Two noise-filtering microphones
Yealink Acoustic Shield Technology blocks background noise so callers hear you clearly.
Up to 13 hours of talk time
Enough for a full workday, with up to 160 m (525 ft) of range from the base.
Busylight
The headset light turns red on calls, and an optional BLT60 repeats it on the desk.
Boom-up mute
Raise the microphone arm to mute and lower it to talk; the arm adjusts through 320°.
Which WH62 should I buy?
Both versions are the WH62 Mono, worn on one ear, at the same list price. The difference is one button on the base: the Teams edition has a Teams key for Teams functions, and the UC edition has a voice assistant key instead. Pick the Teams edition only if your company calls through Microsoft Teams. Everyone else, including teams on a Telnamix hosted or 3CX phone system, should pick the UC edition.

Questions about the Yealink WH62
- What is the difference between the WH62 Mono and Dual?
- The Mono covers one ear and the Dual covers both. The Mono headset weighs 80 g and gives up to 13 hours of talk time; the Dual weighs 127 g, gives up to 14 hours and adds stereo for music. The versions we list are both the Mono.
- What is the difference between the WH62 Teams and UC editions?
- One function key on the base. The Teams edition has a Teams key for Teams functions; the UC edition has a voice assistant key, which works where your operating system and softphone support it. Choose Teams only if Teams is how your company makes calls.
- Does the Yealink WH62 work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
- Yes, as a headset. The base connects by USB to your computer, where it works with softphone apps such as the 3CX desktop and web apps, and to an IP desk phone at the same time. The UC edition is the right choice. Telnamix sells, provisions and supports Yealink headsets with its hosted and 3CX phone systems.
- How long does the WH62 Mono battery last?
- Up to 13 hours of talk time and 90 hours on standby. A full charge takes 2.5 hours.
- How far can I walk from the base?
- Up to 160 m (525 ft), less through walls and other obstructions. Out of range you hear a tone, and the call resumes when you come back. If you stay out of range for 10 minutes, the headset turns itself off.
- What is the warranty?
- Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
