The Yealink BH71 Workstation is the 18 g BH71 single-ear Bluetooth headset paired with the BHB710 desktop station, for office workers who juggle a computer, a desk phone and a smartphone. The station connects to all three at once and adds a 3 inch touchscreen, a speakerphone, three USB 3.0 ports and a Qi phone charger; the headset gives up to 10 hours of talk time.
Yealink lists the BH71 series, including the Workstation and Workstation Pro, in its current range. This page covers the listings with the BHB710 desktop station; the headset-only BH71 (Lite, v1 and Pro) has its own page.

About the Yealink BH71 Workstation
The headset is the same BH71 sold on its own: it hooks over one ear, weighs 18 g and filters background noise with four beamforming microphones. What this version adds is the BHB710 station. It sits on the desk, connects to your PC, a desk phone and your smartphone at the same time, and is run from a 3 inch touchscreen. It also has its own speakerphone for when you take the headset off, a three-port USB 3.0 hub, and a 15 W Qi pad that charges your phone.
The station talks to the headset over a Bluetooth link that reaches up to 250 ft (75 m) in ideal conditions, so you can walk around the office during a call. The Workstation Pro adds the BH71 Pro's battery charging case, good for about 20 more hours, and a USB dongle so the headset can also connect to a laptop away from the desk.
One headset for every device
The station connects your PC, desk phone and smartphone at the same time, so one headset answers all of them.
Touchscreen control
The station is operated from a 3 inch touchscreen rather than a row of buttons.
Built-in speakerphone
The station has its own speaker for calls you want to take hands-free without the headset.
USB hub and phone charger
Three USB 3.0 ports and a Qi wireless charging pad (up to 15 W) cut down the cables on your desk.
Long range from the desk
Up to 250 ft (75 m) between the headset and the station in ideal conditions.
Light earpiece
The headset weighs 18 g, with an adjustable ear hook and four noise-filtering microphones.
Which BH71 Workstation should I buy?
Both versions include the headset and the BHB710 station. The Workstation ($299) is for a headset that stays at one desk. The Workstation Pro ($359, $60 more) adds a battery charging case with about 20 hours of extra talk time and a USB dongle, so you can take the headset to a laptop elsewhere and keep it charged on the road. The two Pro listings differ only in the dongle: the v1 lists the BT51-A (USB-A) and the newer listing is USB-C/A, for USB-C or USB-A ports. There is no separate Teams or UC edition; All three are sold as Teams certified. If you do not need the station, the headset-only BH71 costs less.

Questions about the Yealink BH71 Workstation
- What is the difference between the BH71 Workstation and the BH71?
- The headset is the same. The BH71 is the headset alone (Lite, v1 or Pro). The BH71 Workstation adds the BHB710 desk station with a touchscreen, speakerphone, USB hub and Qi phone charger, which connects the headset to your PC, desk phone and smartphone together.
- What does the Workstation Pro add?
- A battery charging case that gives the headset about 20 extra hours, and a USB dongle for connecting the headset to a computer away from the station. It costs $60 more at MSRP.
- Does the BH71 Workstation work with a Telnamix hosted phone system or 3CX?
- Yes. With the station connected to your PC, the headset works as a standard audio device for softphones such as the 3CX desktop and web apps. The station can also connect to a desk phone, and Yealink lists its own SIP phones among supported devices.
- Can it connect to a desk phone from another brand?
- Yealink says that with an EHS60 or EHS61 adapter, or a BT51-C dongle with its USB-C/A adapter, the Workstation works with desk phones from Avaya, Cisco, Poly, Unify, Mitel, Snom and Grandstream, including answering, rejecting and volume control from the headset.
- How long does the headset battery last?
- Up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 11 days on standby, with a full charge in up to 90 minutes. On the Workstation Pro, the charging case adds about 20 hours.
- What is the warranty?
- Telnamix warranties Yealink hardware for 3 years.
