Looking for 3CX support or quick 3CX help? This page is the starting point. It covers the kinds of 3CX problems our team handles every day, then points you to a step-by-step guide for the most common ones, so you can often fix the issue yourself in a few minutes. If you would rather hand it to someone, the last section tells you exactly how to reach us.
Telnamix is a Platinum 3CX Partner with over a decade of hands-on 3CX experience. Our 3CX practice spans 16 states and thousands of extensions, from single-office systems to multi-location configurations, on premise, hybrid, and fully hosted. The clients range from busy restaurants to police and fire departments, and we have built our own add-ons and enhancements to 3CX where the stock product did not quite fit a client’s needs.
What kind of 3CX problems do we handle?
Most 3CX support requests fall into a handful of categories. These are the ones we see again and again.
Everyday user questions
A voicemail PIN that stopped working, a mailbox that says it is disabled, a call that will not transfer, an agent who cannot get out of a queue. None of these are outages, but each one stops somebody from doing their job. They are also the easiest to fix, which is why most of the guides below cover them.
Call quality
Dropped calls, one-way audio, and garbled or choppy voice are among the most common complaints about any VoIP phone system, 3CX included. The cause is rarely the 3CX software itself. It is usually somewhere in the network between the phone and the system, which is why we troubleshoot with networking knowledge, not just the 3CX admin console.
Configuration that quietly costs money
Office hours that never got updated, calls routed straight to voicemail, a queue nobody is logged into. A system set up once, years ago, often still has settings that made sense at install time and no longer match how the business answers the phone.
Multi-location setups
Businesses with several branches need extensions, call routing, and caller ID that work the same way in every office. Getting that right across sites is a design job as much as a support job.
Migrations and upgrades
Moving to 3CX from another phone system, or upgrading to a newer version of 3CX, is where small mistakes turn into downtime. We plan these so calls keep flowing during the change and your numbers, users, and call flows come across intact.
Security and downtime
A phone system reachable from the internet is a target. Keeping 3CX updated and locked down, and catching problems before they become outages, is part of ongoing support rather than a one-time setup task.
Why root cause matters in 3CX support
The most common reason a 3CX issue keeps coming back is that only the symptom got fixed. A phone that drops calls gets rebooted, works for a day, and fails again, because the real problem was in the network all along. We dig for the underlying cause, whether that is in 3CX, the phones, the internet connection, or the carrier, so the fix sticks.
It helps that Telnamix is both the platform operator and the carrier for the systems we run. The engineer looking at your ticket can follow a call end to end, from the SIP trunk to the handset, instead of passing the problem to another vendor.
3CX help guides, by topic
Each of these guides solves one specific problem, in plain language, with the exact steps. Start here before opening a ticket.
Voicemail
- 3CX voicemail PIN not working or blocked: why a resent welcome email silently replaces your PIN, how a lockout clears, and how to reset or change the PIN.
- 3CX voicemail disabled or blocked: what “voicemail is disabled for this extension” and a temporarily blocked voicemail account each mean, and how to fix them.
- 3CX voicemail to email: setting it up, who receives each mailbox, queue recipient lists, transcripts, and what to check when the emails stop arriving.
Calls and queues
- How to transfer a call in 3CX: blind and attended (warm) transfers on Yealink desk phones, the web client, and the mobile app, plus sending a caller straight to voicemail.
- 3CX queue login: logging in and out of queues with the Q button or the *62 and *63 dial codes, and why an agent still gets no queue calls.
- Conference calls on 3CX and Yealink phones: dial the first caller, press Conference, add each person, and merge.
Phones and system setup
- Yealink phone says No Service: a five-step ladder that gets most desk phones back on the 3CX system, starting with a simple reboot.
- Six 3CX settings that cost real money: real configuration bugs we have found on client systems, including calls going straight to voicemail, and the short audit that catches them.
- 3CX E911 and caller location: why sending an accurate address with a 911 call is hard on 3CX, and the approach we use to get it right.
How to get 3CX support from Telnamix
If the guides did not solve it, or you would rather not touch the admin console, here is how to reach us.
- Email: send a note to [email protected]. Include your company name, the extension number, and what you were doing when the problem started. A screenshot of any error message helps.
- Help center: the Telnamix Help Center is where you open a support request, browse more phone system guides, or find our phone number.
- New to Telnamix: if your 3CX system is run by someone else, or by nobody, read how we run managed and hosted 3CX phone systems. Support and consulting are included for our subscribers, from US-based engineers who administer 3CX every day.
Whether it is one locked mailbox or a system that has never quite worked, the fastest route is the same: tell us what is happening, and we will start with the cause.
